Thank you for taking the time to look at my website; Yvonne Lishman Photography, documentary style storybook wedding & contemporary portrait photography, centrally located in Nottingham for photography throughout the East Midlands.

I love to take contemporary images that narrate the story of the day in both colour and black & white. The outcomes are modern & stylish photographs, which aim to preserve spontaneous moments that were fun and happy and allow the client to relive moments they loved and later enjoy ones they weren't even aware had happened.

I qualified as a professional photographer over twenty years ago first working as a medical photographer & then later for the Natural Environmental Research Council before retraining at university as a teacher. I have also worked as an education officer, & volunteer photographer of cruelty cases, for the RSPCA.

I live in a village in south Nottinghamshire close to the Leicestershire Derbyshire borders with my husband Mike, two cats and a dog, where I work as a wedding and portrait photographer and part-time teacher.
